Billing & Pricing Terms

1. Overview
These Billing & Pricing Terms explain how subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds work for CertFetch (“we”, “our”, “us”). They apply to any paid plan purchased through CertFetch.
2. Plans, Features & Limits
CertFetch offers free plans, trials (where offered), and paid subscription plans. Plan features, usage limits, and pricing are displayed on our website and/or at checkout and may change over time.
If plan limits are exceeded, we may restrict certain features, pause usage, or require an upgrade to continue using those features.
3. Pricing, Currency & Taxes
Prices are shown before purchase and confirmed at checkout. Currency will be displayed at checkout (e.g. NZD or AUD depending on your plan and location).
Taxes (including GST, if applicable) may be added and will be shown at checkout where required.
4. Billing Cycle & Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) and automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Your renewal date and billing history may be available in your account or in the Stripe customer portal (if enabled).
5. Trials
CertFetch may offer free trials for some plans. Trial availability, duration, and eligibility will be shown at signup or checkout.
If a trial requires payment details, your subscription will begin and you will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial end date.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that period ends.
If you cancel, you will not be charged for the next billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period except where required by law.
7. Refunds
Fees are generally non-refundable and are not pro-rated for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable consumer law.
8. Payment Processing (Stripe)
Payments are processed by Stripe. CertFetch does not store your full payment card details. Stripe may collect and process payment information in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Failed Payments & Account Restrictions
If a payment fails or a charge is reversed, we may retry the payment and/or suspend or restrict paid features until payment is successfully processed.
10. Pricing Changes
We may change pricing or plan features over time. If changes affect an active subscription, we will provide notice where required and explain the effective date of the change.
